Freedom Motors is in the second phase of an U.S. Army contract optimizing the performance of the Rotapower engine on diesel fuel. Running with a neutral combustion pocket the Rotapower can use gasoline one minute, diesel the next. With the clean simplicity of low pressure throttle body injection, spark ignition and the efficient rotary packaging, the Rotapower is a portable, powerful, inexpensive diesel-capable powerplant.

Rotapower Spark-Ignited (SI) Diesel Operation

• Low cost throttle body fuel injection
• Charge cooling and low pressure injection result in a full vaporized charge producing no particulate matter
• Greater power to weight ratio

Standard Piston Compression-Ignited (CI) Operation

• Expensive high pressure direct injection (DI)
• DI results in carcinogenic particulates suspended in exhaust
• Lower power to weight ratio
